DESCRIPTION
Satin is a particular
type of textile weave
that has a sleek
texture, smooth and
glossy on one side,
dull and matte on the
other. The peculiarity
of its unique woven
process makes it at the
same time precious to
touch and very difficult
to work. Its name has
Chinese origins from
the 12th century. In the
Middle Ages it meant
a luxurious, heavy type
of silk usually worn by
royalty; today we enjoy
its sensuous beauty
directly on the skin in
our lingerie or wedding
gowns.
INSPIRATION
This is an ode to ginger,
a marvelous and
contrasted ingredient,
both shining and
sensual just like satin is.
The fragrance opens
with the brightness
of bergamot and
mandarin, enlivened by
pepper and ginger, in
unison. Lemon blossom
and delicate wild
rose blend in endless
sophistication. Artemisia
Absinthium and
patchouli define the
creation by highlighting
the versatility and depth
of the ginger.
